State-to-state quenching rate coefficients for initial HCl rotational levels of j=1, 2, ..., 20 for temperature between 0.1 and 3000 K are presented. To obtain these rate coefficients,state-to-state quenching cross sections were computed for kinetic energies from 10-5 to 15000 cm-1 using close-coupling method and coupled-states approximation.Rotational energy levels were calculated using rotational constant B0=10.5933 cm-1 and centrifugal distortion constant D0=0.00053 cm-1.Transition frequencies and Einstein A coefficients were taken from JPL.
