This talk bears two purposes.  I will mainly share some experiences on what a graduate student can do and things to pay attention to at different stages, in order to build up research experiences, skills and efficiency.  Along the way, I will introduce a few little tools and tricks to help saving time on some everyday tasks, like paper searching, bookkeeping, managing data etc.
