SUMMARY:SPOC Satellite to be deployed into orbit from the ISS -- 
DESCRIPTION:Special Viewing. After having been on the International Space Station a couple weeks, SPOC is scheduled to be deployed into orbit on November 5th at 4:05 AM ET, where the satellite begins it's research mission monitoring the health of coastal ecosystems using an advanced optic system that can zoom in on coastal areas to detect chemical composition and physical characteristics on ocean and wetland surfaces.
