DESCRIPTION:Observatory Open House. If the skies are clear, then we will be able to see the planet Jupiter, the large galaxy Andromeda, and a myriad of stars and constellations. Coincidentally, the Orionid meteorshower will peak on the night of the 21st.     It is best viewed from darker locations outside the city and later in the night, but lucky visitors to the Observatory Open House might glimps a meteor.
