Proton - atomic hydrogen elastic scattering data

The data made available here updates and extends previous work providing elastic scattering integral and differental cross sections to support modeling of the passage of protons through atomic hydrogen gas.

Please cite the following two papers when using this data:

"Data for proton transport through atomic hydrogen environments: Elastic scattering," D.R. Schultz, R. Wang, P.C. Stancil, and N.D. Cariatore, Atomic Data and Nuclear Data Tables 154, 101601 (2023) DOI - presents new calculations of the elastic scattering integral and differential cross section above the first excitation threshold

"Elastic, charge transfer, and related transport cross sections for proton impact of atomic hydrogen for astrophysical and laboratory plasma modeling," D.R. Schultz, S.Yu. Ovchinnikov, P.C. Stancil, and T. Zaman, J. Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys. 49, 084004 (2016) DOI - description of (i) the present data for center of mass collision energies below 10.7 eV and (ii) the updates and extensions of the previous data
